Laurie Malone

Laurie has mediated over 1,500 cases. In addition, she is an experienced Guardian ad Litem representing the best interests of children, parenting coordinator for high conflict cases, a collaborative attorney, as well an experienced litigator. Laurie takes the time to learn about the unique perspective of each case so a plan can be tailored to the individual needs of her clients.
Laurie has taught at John Carroll and at continuing legal education seminars, spoken on the radio, and presented numerous seminars on the topics of mediation, parenting coordination, high conflict families, divorce options, and communicating with difficult people.
Laurie graduated from Cleveland State University in 1985; her undergraduate degree was in business with a major in marketing. Laurie graduated from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in December 1996 and was sworn into the bar in May 1997. Laurie’s involvement with legal and professional organizations is as follows:

Laurie is active in the community. She is a lector at her church and has been an assistant volleyball and softball coach. Her interests include reading, hiking, and biking, including riding in the MS Pedal to the Point from Berea to Cedar Point.
