Biography

Sarah E. English graduated from John Carroll University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and received her Juris Doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2005, graduating cum laude.

Ms. English joined John J. Ready & Associates in November 2005 and is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio (2005). Ms. English’s areas of practice include all aspects of family law (including divorce, dissolution, juvenile proceedings, prenuptial agreements, support modifications, and child custody proceedings), alternative dispute resolution, estate planning, probate administration (including step-parent adoptions), and civil litigation.

Ms. English is a Family Law Mediator, trained as a Collaborative attorney, and completed training for Parent Coordination.

Ms. English has been a member of the Cuyahoga County Guardian Ad Litem program for over 14 years and represents the interests of children whose parents are involved in litigated custody and/or visitation disputes.

Bar and professional organization memberships include the Ohio State Bar Association (Family Law Section), Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (Family Law Section and Family Law Section Officer 2010-2012), and The Center for Principled Family Advocacy (Secretary 2011-2012, 2020; President 2016). Ms. English also volunteers her time at pro se divorce clinics hosted by the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
