Katie was a past president and the current mediation practice group leader of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy. She is also an OSBA Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law.  She has advanced trainings in mediation, collaborative law, parenting coordination, and cooperative divorce.

She founded Northeast Ohio Family Law and Mediation LLC to focus her practice on keeping families out of court.
