Katie is a family law attorney and mediator who counsels clients through difficult times. She was a partner at two reputable Cleveland law firms before exiting firm life to establish Northeast Ohio Family Law and Mediation LLC to focus her practice on mediation and keeping families out of court.
She keeps a “big picture” approach when working with clients to find creative solutions to all family law matters including dissolution of marriage, divorce, child custody, shared parenting, spousal support, child support, and post-decree disputes. She uses a structured mediation process to resolve cases efficiently, effectively, and equitably. Katie practices across Northeastern Ohio including the counties of Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit.
Katie is the current mediation practice group leader and a past president of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy. She is an OSBA Certified Specialist in Family Relations Law and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a national organization of selected family law attorneys who exhibit the highest standards of family law and improvement. She also has advanced trainings in mediation, collaborative law, and parenting coordination.
