Mr. Hunt has been a trial attorney in Ohio for over thirty years. He has appeared before the Ohio Supreme Court, various Ohio courts of appeals, and trial courts at the county and municipal level throughout the state of Ohio and before the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. As the newly developing area of collaborative law has grown as an alternative to litigated divorce, Mr. Hunt has re-focused his divorce/family law practice in this area. Mr. Hunt is an ardent believer in the concept that interest-based negotiation is vastly superior to traditional divorce litigation. Mr. Hunt is a member and trustee of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy, an initial member of the Cleveland Collaborative Practice Group, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals (IACP) as well as the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association (formerly, the Cleveland Bar Association and the Cuyahoga County Bar Association). Mr. Hunt is admitted to the bar of the State of Ohio, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio and the United States Supreme Court.
